Brisbane radio host Ben Dobbin almost paralysed after breaking neck in horror crash

A Brisbane radio personality is lucky to be alive after surviving a horror bicycle crash while training for a triathlon.

Ben Dobbin, 48, crashed his bike when he swerved to avoid a snake while training for the Noosa triathlon on Wednesday.

He was rushed to hospital with a suspected broken neck.
