Joshua abducted his own dad to gain money. It went horribly wrong

A man previously accused of killing his own father during an abduction that caused a traumatic brain injury has been jailed for five years after pleading guilty to lesser charges.

Joshua Irving Samual Williams, 39 was previously committed to stand trial charged with the manslaughter of his father Neville Donaldson.

Donaldson, 69, died of a heart attack on April 12, 2022 at a hospital in Redcliffe, north of Brisbane, after spending almost 11 months in care for injuries caused by falling from a vehicle driven by Williams.
